Cybus and UIB Demonstrate Ease and Security of IIoT Communications Live at Hannover Messe
Messe delegates learn how Cybus’ secure IIoT connectivity and UIB’s intelligent IoT messaging platform offers manufacturers and operators increased security, interoperability, and convenience.
Hannover Messe, Hanover, Germany (24 April 2017) – Cybus and Unified Inbox Pte. Ltd. (UIB) today announced their live, interactive demo of UIB’s UnificationEngine™ intelligent Internet of Things (IoT) messaging platform with Cybus’ Connectware secure connectivity technology, showing how easy the right technology makes human to machine (H2M) and machine to human (M2H) communications.
Hannover Messe delegates who participate in the Cybus + UIB demo can register to receive a voucher redeemable for a free hour of consulting on H2M and M2H IIoT communications best practices. The Cybus + UIB partnership makes data-driven, value-added services such as remote monitoring and predictive maintenance faster, easier, and more secure for industrial equipment manufacturers and operators.
Using Cybus’ Connectware and UIB’s UnificationEngine, Hannover Messe delegates will be able to send WhatsApp messages in natural language from their own smartphones to operate LED light strips visualizing data traveling between the shop floor and the cloud. Delegates will also be able to request credentials to access the open API to showcase their own products and ideas.
Cybus’ technology brings easy, precise, and controllable access by authorized data users, while UIB’s technology provides natural language communications through the communications channels people already use, including the most popular global social media, messaging, and chat apps. The Connectware + UnificationEngine solution can be easily adapted and developed for machinery, vehicles, sensors, and their components across verticals including discrete and process manufacturing, power plants, and logistics.
According to Laurent Schueller, Cybus’ Head of Marketing and PR, “We are excited to show people how Connectware communicates data between different industrial devices and cloud applications, bringing the benefits of industry 4.0 to the production floor. Delegates will be able to take on the role of a factory operator and select which services they want to use with their data.”
UIB Chief Marketing Officer Ken Herron continued, “To show delegates how simple — and how secure — it can be to connect humans to machines with the right technology stack, they’ll be able to use their own smartphones to control the demo with a WhatsApp message. The consulting voucher reinforces the message that making better, data-based decisions saves companies money. We can’t wait to share with everyone the impact of combining Cybus’ smart networking solution for IIoT with UIB’s intelligent IoT messaging platform for industry 4.0 and smart enterprise.”
Members of the press are invited to visit the booth on Tuesday, April 25 at 11:45 a.m. to see how Cybus + UIB works with 13 different tools, systems, and gateways. Everyone is encouraged to stop by and visit Cybus and UIB at the Hannover Messe booth in Hall 6, stand K01 within the Bitkom Innovation Area.
